Here are ways your child can be a leader at home:
7th Grade Social Studies has been learning about longitude and latitude and how to use them to locate specific locations. Today they put their skills to the test by playing the game Battleship.
The Fall Sports Banquet for Softball, Jr High Boys & Girls Basketball and Cross-Country will be held Monday evening, November 1, at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. All athlete families are invited to attend. We would ask that all parents add a dessert to go along with the cake being provided by the Booster Club.. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of these wonderful athletes.

We are in need of bus drivers for the 2021-22 school year. We are also in need of sub route drivers and trip drivers. The school will help train you and help you obtain a CDL. If you are interested, please contact the Superintendent’s office at 417-788-2543 ext. 103.

There will be a community Blood Drive Thursday, November 4th, from 1:00-4:00pm in the school Multi-Purpose room. There will be a free Chiefs Kingdom t-shirt for anyone donating blood (while supplies last). Come out and donate to this lifesaving cause.
The High School Sewing class make pumpkins
The High School Physical Science class has been studying the phase changes of matter. They started with ice and took the temperature every minute so they could see how temperature changes as it changes from solid to liquid to gas.
The JH Science students have been busy reviewing for their upcoming Ecology assessment and the Science Olympiad competition being held at Hermitage on October 27th.

The World History class has been studying ancient empires. Students worked together as table groups and created their own empires. Empires shared information about their beliefs, war tactics, economy, government, location and other empires they became allies with or conquered.
Senior Parents - Monday evening, 10/25 at 7:00pm, following Parent-Teacher Conferences, there will be a Senior Meeting and FAFSA Night in the Library. Come out and get help filing out your student's FAFSA. There will be chromebooks available to use. You will need to bring your 2020 income tax returns, W-2s, and/or any other record of income earned.
